| RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES (A) HOME SCIENCE ACTIVITIES
Visually Impaired children are usually not allowed to
participate in the domestic activities at their residence. This results in lack of
exposure, which is available to there sighted counterparts. We have a Home Science
Section, where visually impaired children learn table manners, cooking, sewing,
maintaining and decorating the house.

(B) Sports:
Children with vision impairment usually lack physical activities. And, like
other children, they also need physical exercise and recreational activities. With this
objective various sports and recreational events are organized. These
include Chess,
Rolling Skates, Tai Kundwo, Clay Modeling etc. The Association Organizes an Annual Sports
Day inviting visually impaired children for various sporting competitions. |
