The National Association for the Blind-Delhi is an organisation that exists because of the support of the society. We work as your representatives. We receive two forms of contributions:

Become a volunteer
Make financial contributions

Your time: Dedicated volunteers are the back-bone of our organisation.
• If you have a good voice, give your voice for talking books recorded at talking book recording studios

• You can help in reading directly to students

• Become writers for students appearing in examinations in the main-stream schools

• Help children with their homework and tutorials

• participate in projects and programmes like raised maps creation

• Help in editing books for Braille printing on computers
  Financial Assistance: The National Association for the Blind-Delhi provides all its services free of cost. This is possible only with the financial assistance by government, funding agencies and individual donors. Consider the following options:
  • Rs.1200/- per annum or Rs.100/- per month for the pension to an elderly blind.

  • Rs.3000/- per annum or Rs.250/- per month to adopt a blind elderly person at the Home of the Aged Blind.

  • Rs.1000/- for sponsoring an eye operation with IOL.

  • Rs.300/- for set of talking books for a blind student.

  • Rs.400/- for a set of linen for a child for one year.

  • Rs.6000/- per annum or Rs.500/- per month for sponsoring a middle and secondary level student.

  • Rs.3000/- per annum or Rs.250/- per month for a primary level student’s education.

  • Rs.9000/- per annum or Rs.750/- per month a sponsor a blind college going student.
